Rigging and Handling

Unit Shipping

1. Position rigging sling under wood

shipping skid.

2. Use spreader bars to avoid unit

damage.

3. When using a forklift, exercise caution

to prevent unit damage.

4. Use the standard fork length to lift one

end and drag or pull unit while skidding

the opposite end.

5. The unit center of gravity will fall within

center of gravity block at various

locations depending on unit options.

6. Use hooks to lift fan section only. Do not

hook into open channels to lift unit.

7. See unit nameplate for unit weight.

8. Do not stack units.
